Years ago, whenever my grandfather had something profound to say, it was usually preceded by, “While driving…”
Whether it was the distance of a car ride, the physical drive, or the peace and quiet of a solitary trip, “while driving” my grandfather often thought of something important to say or do.
Now, while driving, I find myself developing the same habits.
I am a teacher and school administrator, blogging as part of my participation in Powerful Learning Practice. I care about many topics in education, especially whether today’s students are prepared to be productive citizens in tomorrow’s world. This blog will be primarily about issues in education, but I may delve into other passions as well.
I am not even sure I’ll have so much to say, let alone profound. Whenever I do say it here, most likely, I’ll think of my grandfather first.
Enjoy the drive.
